A native of Olympia, Washington, Robert Skillings Munn attended WSC from 1940-43 before entering the U.S. Army. He was killed in northwestern Italy on April 14, 1945.
Description: 

Born and raised in on a farm outside Olympia, Robert Skillings Munn attended WSC from 1940-43, where he majored in Dairy Manufacturing and joined a fraternity.  After basic training he was assigned to an anti-aircraft unit in North Africa and Italy until it was merged into a new infantry regiment in 1945.  He was killed in action in the northwestern Italian town of Massa on April 14, 1945, just two weeks before the German units in his sector surrendered.
